What is holographic nail polish and how does it work?
Holographic polish contains special silver particles that split or diffract light into a color spectrum. "Holo" particles can vary in size - the bigger they are the more "scattered" the look. A finer particle will produce a more "linear" or smoother finish. Direct lighting such as sunlight or strong indoor bulbs will bring out the prismatic rainbow effect.
What is thermal nail polish and how does it work?
Thermal polish contains thermochromic pigments that changes color based on temperature. The color change is activated your body temperature and/or environment. Thermal polish has a typical shelf life of 1 year and then may begin to lose the ability to change color. The polish color will become less sensitive over time and will settle somewhere in the middle of the spectrum. For longevity, please store your thermal polishes in a cool, dark place.

Tips & Tricks

My nail polish keeps chipping. How can I make my manicure last longer?
Start every manicure by wiping your bare nails with rubbing alcohol or 100% acetone. This removes all traces oil and residue, creating a clean surface for product application. Next, apply 1 coat of base coat. This acts as a primer, helping polish adhere to the nail. Then, apply 2-3 thin coats of nail polish. This allows your polish layers to dry faster. Finally, apply 1-2 coats of quick-dry top coat to protect and add a glossy shine.
My nail polish turned thick and goopy. How can I fix it?
Over time, ingredients in your nail polish will start to evaporate and change the consistency of the product. To remedy this, add Nail Polish Thinner to replace the evaporated ingredients and return your product back to its original form. To use, add 5-10 drops to your nail polish bottle and shake vigorously. Check the consistency and repeat if necessary. Never use acetone to thin your polish.
My nail polish has separated. Did it go bad?
Over time, particle settlement may occur and you will start to see ingredient separation in your bottle. This is normal and does not effect the color of the product. To use it again, simply shake your bottle vigorously to mix the contents back up.
How should I store my polish?
Nail polish should be stored in a cool, dark place. Keep away from heat and flame.
My cap is stuck. How do I open my bottle?
Wrap a thick rubber band around your cap and twist. The rubber creates a grip, which should help with opening. If it’s still stuck, dip or run hot tap water over the cap. The heat causes the plastic to become more pliable, which should help loosen it. Once the cap is open, be sure to clean the rim and bottle neck to prevent the cap from becoming stuck again.
How can I remove glitter polishes with ease?
For easy glitter removal, wet a cotton pad with 100% acetone and place it on top of the nail. Then wrap a piece of aluminum foil entirely around the finger to keep the cotton pad in place. Repeat this for all fingers and let sit for 10 minutes. This allows the acetone to penetrate through all the layers of polish to loosen stubborn glitter particles. To remove, firmly grip the aluminum wrap and slide it off the fingers taking the cotton pad and any glitter polish with it. Clean any remnants off the nail with acetone.
