We're hiring a full-time Production Manager and Graphic Designer! Annie Pham founded Cirque in 2012 out of a desire to transcend the limited color palettes of conventional polish brands. The name Cirque, meaning ring or circle, came from the idea of the color wheel - a window into the endless possibilities of the color spectrum. Over the past several years, Cirque has explored the color continuum by hand-mixing personal color inspirations with unique pigments and raw materials. The result is a distinct product unique in color and high on performance.Production Manager:We are seeking a full-time Production Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for all aspects of nail polish mixing, filling, capping and, and assembly of finished goods. We are a small but fast growing organization. We expect a team leader that is focused on improving our current operations.Primary Duties & Responsibilities Manage and direct the development and growth of our current facility. Source new suppliers relating to raw materials, nail art, other cosmetic nail care treatments and packaging requirements. Facilitate production recipes and review them with production leads. Maintain accurate levels of raw material stock levels and the procuring of ingredients. Execute a weekly production schedule ensuring that all production goals are met. Responsible for implementation and management of all GMP and OSHA requirements in the facility. Ensure that all machinery is operated and maintained following safety standards. Supervise the mixing of product to exacting specifications; changing drums and refilling containers, mixing, filling and sampling of finished goods, and evaluation of raw materials. Assist Warehouse/Inventory Manager and team as needed. Work closely with different departments and warehouse inventory team to ensure open communications and achievement of company objectives. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSNo health restrictions that would prevent working directly with nail polish, acetone or industrial production solvents, wearing PPE or driving. Ability to physically perform all site tasks, i.e. long periods of standing, lifting heavy items up to 50 lbs.. Receiving and handling of 55 gallon drums and moving heavy materials with a pallet jack.QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years as lead, manager or supervisor in a small batch manufacturing environment. Beauty and handmade cosmetics experience is a PLUS. Knowledge on scaling up operations and procuring new machinery. Knowledge of operation and maintenance of mixing/filling/ bottling and assembly line machinery. Knowledge in GMP and will be tasked to hire consulting for OSHA guidelines. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish a plus. Proficiency in Google Docs. Working knowledge of nail polish materials: wet, dry, viscous, flammable, hazmat. Working knowledge of GMP practices and OSHA safety regulations. Knowledge of proper handling and safe use of nail polish base and ingredients. Experience in working with industrial compressors and pneumatic tools.
